ASK Pharm attended 2014 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Diego, California, November 2-6, 2014, and this was the fifth time that our Company participated in this important international conference for pharmaceutical scientists. Same as previous years, ASK Pharm’s display booth showcased the successful corporate growth and commitment to product research and development. ASK booth, one of the largest stations in the exhibition hall, was a frequent meeting/greeting place for oversea Chinese scientists and students attending the conference. ASK team met with all old and new friends, discussed innovation ideas and projects, and demonstrated to the attendants ASK corporate spirits and professionalism. In addition, scientists from ASK Drug Research Institutes presented 3 research posters, and exchanged R&D ideas and information with researchers around the world. It was a successful showcase of ASK Pharm at a well-known international pharmaceutical convention.
ASK Pharm once again sponsored the Annual Association Convention and Banquet hosted by the American Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (ACPA) on November 4, 2014. Dr. Qingcai Chen, CEO and Chairman of the Board, made the keynote speech about ASK Pharm’s current corporate growth and R&D innovations. Dr. Chen also presented the inaugural Aosaikang Research Awards to Zhiyi Cui of University of Houston and Wei Zhang of University of Wisconsin at Madison during the banquet; this ASK-sponsored Research Award was selected by the ACPA Executive Committee to reward outstanding Chinese graduate trainees who have demonstrated research excellence and innovation. The inauguration of this research award further solidifies the long-term partnership between ASK Pharm and the ACPA, and demonstrates our Company’s commitment and investment at international levels. This annual ACPA gathering also provided invaluable opportunities for ASK scientists to communicate with their peers and to exchange ideas in innovative research and development.
